There are two main types of car insurance: Comprehensive (Full) Coverage which covers vehicle damage, theft, and third-party liability; and Motor Liability Coverage Only which covers third-party liability at a lower premium. Comprehensive coverage is recommended for newer vehicles.

In case of an accident: 1) Ensure safety first, 2) File an FIR/GD at the nearest police station, 3) Notify UpShield Insurix within 24 hours, 4) Submit required documents including photos and repair estimates, 5) Our team will assess and process your claim promptly.
Claims are settled based on the assessed damage, policy coverage limits, and depreciation schedule. For total loss, the insured declared value minus depreciation is paid. For partial loss, actual repair costs are reimbursed subject to policy terms.
